Students who keep good marks and high attendance rate can have chances to obtain scholarships. That would be big economical help for you to study and live in Japan, so study hard and take a chance.
This scholarship is by the Intercultural Japanese Language School, for students who are on the school register over 6 months and keep the over 90% attendance rate at Intercultural Institute of Japan Japanese Language School. (Note: students who have already obtained the external scholarships are exceptions)
This is the scholarship funded by an independent administrative institution, the Japan Student Services Organization. It is offered to privately financed international students who are to enter or study universities or other schools in Japan.
This scholarship was established in memory of Mr. Lee Su Hyun who was a student from Korea at a Japanese language school and was killed by accident at JR Shin-Okubo station in Tokyo (he was trying to rescue an strange Japanese who fell from the platform down to the railroad). Mr. Lee Seong Dai, the father of Lee Su Hyun, contributed the gifts of money given by people who mourned for him.

This is funded by Kyoritsu Maintenance Co., Ltd., which manages our students’ dormitories. This scholarship is available for privately-financed international students, who are from Asian countries and enrolled at Intercultural Institute of Japans over one year.
