Information magazine of higher education “Shinro”
Advisory seminars for higher education
Advisory seminars are held for students who intend to go for higher education, soon after the new semesters begin (in April, July and October). The explanation and hints about the preparation for admission exams are given at each class. For the beginners’ who can't speak Japanese fluently, we will have interpreters for them.
Hearing students’ plans for future
We ask all students about their plans after finishing their courses in April. Students decide which school to apply, and start preparation for the exams.

Students who worry or have questions about proceeding to higher education can consult our experienced teachers who are in charge of academic counseling.
University exam preparation course
Every year, we hold special seminars for students who intend to go on to university. We have only three classes for this seminar course: Japanese, English, and mathematics. This course is for students in the intermediate/advanced classes and the lesson is held after Japanese language lesson in the morning.
Achievement tests
Achievement tests (Japanese Language Proficiency Test/Examination for Japanese University Admissions for International Students) are held in May and July, and there also is a trial examination for Japanese University Admissions for International Students held in October. These will be good opportunities for students to check their Japanese language ability. All tests are exclusively made by Intercultural Institute of Japan.
System of Admission by Recommendation (by Designated Schools)
Intercultural Institute of Japan has the AO system, in which we recommend few excellent students to universities or other professional schools. In order for students to be recommended, students have to have good attitudes in class, good scores and also high attendance. So it is the best to attend every class and study hard.(→ Admission by Recommendation in 2005 )
Information magazine of higher education “Shinro”
We issue the original info magazine of higher education for our students, named “Shinro”. It gives you useful and comprehensive information such as topics of Universities, graduate schools and professional schools, information about admission exams, required documents for application and admission interviews.
