Intercultural Institute of Japan has three organizations; Japanese language school, Teachers training school and the ILC (Intercultural Language Center). We execute our services to meet our clients’ needs and also interact with our clients.
Founded in 1977, it is one of the longest-established Japanese language schools in Japan. Currently, we have around 500 to 700 students from over 20 countries. We focus on “ quality language teaching” and “exclusive student support” ─ that is, “”the teaching method, which enables students to use practical Japanese” and “the system which allows students to have an enjoyable school life without anxiety. With these policies, we run our school to meet the world-standard.
The lessons here are not given in the style of one-way lectures from instructors. It is the “interactive lesson” which encourages students to think for themselves about the theme and discuss with each other, with the lead of instructors. In addition to this, we focus on training teachers in both beginners and intermediate classes by experiencing actual scenarios by teaching actual students in their classes. This is the policy of our school, to train the teachers to be able to teach properly in front of student soon after their graduation.
ILC was founded with the aim to plan and manage the courses able to correspond to clients’ needs flexibly, without sticking to the conventional Japanese language schools’ method. We will provide extensive services to meet various requirements of language lessons such as Japanese language lessons at embassies, offices and universities, produce of Japanese university admission tests for international student, short-term Japanese cultural experience courses for high school/university students from overseas, or foreign language courses for native Japanese speaker.
