Japanese courses for foreigners

The Intercultural Institute of Japan offers many different courses that respond to the diverse needs of individuals wishing to study Japanese. Students do not mechanically repeat Japanese phrases. Students are trained to communicate their thoughts in Japanese.

Long-term course

These are 1 to 2-year Japanese study courses for students entering Japan with student visas. Courses can meet the diverse needs of students such as those who hope to enter higher education or business in Japan or those who are preparing to take the Japanese Language Proficiency Test.link to Long-term course

weekly course

This is a 5-day course, the shortest period offered, beginning every Monday. The curriculum focuses on communication skills and helps students to speak Japanese in a short period. Link to weekly course

Intensive business Japanese course

This is a 10-week, five-days-per-week intensive course for business persons, company trainees, and individuals wishing to obtain jobs for which Japanese is used. Link to Intensive business course

Part-time course

These courses are offered to individuals with no free time during the day due to work or study. The course can be taken at our school near Iidabashi station, conveniently located to make access easy for students who wish to study before or after work. Link to Part-time course

Private & Company lessons

This course is established to provide private or small group lessons offering intensive sudies, specialized lessons matching the situation at your workplace, and for individuals wishing to have teachers provide off-site lessons. Link to Private lesson
